At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates also decreased.
At 8:17am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,430 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,770 VND/USD, both down 40 VND from September 24.
Similarly, BIDV cut both rates by 20 VND, posting the buying rate at 24,450 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,790 VND/USD.
