Reference exchange rate adjusted up on July 24

With the current trading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,333 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,975 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks saw mixed changes from the previous day.

While Vietcombank kept its rates unchanged, BIDV raised both rates by 10 VND and Techcombank adjusted both rates down 10 VND.

The greenback is being bought at 23,180 VND/USD and sold at 23,250 VND/USD at both Vietcombank and BIDV.

The rates listed at Techcombank stood at 23,160 VND/USD (buying) and 23,270 VND/USD (selling).
