Three sisters Nho (Thuy Diem), Nhan (Thuy Nga), Du (Tuyet Huong) quizzed about how geckos and salamanders look for a partner. While chatting, the three sisters heard a guitar sound and a long-haired man came up.

"Hi, my name is Quang. Let me take photos of everyone. I took photos of thousands of girls' eyes and then sat down with them to predict their fate," the romantic man introduced himself.

The man suggested that he wanted to stay in their home and guess the fate of the three sisters through their eyes. While Nhan and Du were still laughing and chatting, Nho remained cold-hearted and asked this man to leave .

Another scene revealed that Du had a son and Nho had a daughter but they have no husband. Nho's daughter, after meeting a strange man while playing on a sand dune, told her mother. Nho was in bewilderment because that was the man who did not want to marry her.

With sophisticated handling of psychological changes of characters and haunting scenes, director Luu Trong Ninh gives Red Sand audiences strong desire to be loved.
