10 ASEAN countries and 6 partner countries including China, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia and New Zealand discussed the trade deal negotiation process. They expressed their hopes that the RCEP can be concluded this year. At the meeting, the economic ministers agreed to finalise key elements by the end of 2017. The 20th negotiation will be held in Incheon, South Korea this October before the results are submitted to the ASEAN Summit in November.
