Den Vau, 35, was honoured in the category of culture and arts. He was hailed as a young artist whose work has inspired the community. By contributing revenue from his music projects, Den Van has supported the meals of tens of thousands of students at boarding schools in the mountainous region.
Meanwhile, Dinh Cao Son was honoured in the study category for winning a gold medal at the 2023 International Chemistry Olympiad. Son, who is a student at Hanoi National University of Education, was the contestant who achieved the highest score in the Vietnamese team at the contest.
Cat Tien, a ninth grader at Thai Nguyen Secondary School in Khanh Hoa Province, was awarded in the category of social activities; while Captain Le The Van, from the Department of Cyber Security and Hi-tech Crime Prevention under the Ministry of Public Security, was awarded in the security and order category for his excellent contributions in the fight against cyber security crimes.
The other six outstanding young faces named in the list included: Dr. Ha Thi Thanh Huong and Dr. Ngo Quoc Duy (scientific research category), Captain Vu Van Cuong (defence), Dang Duong Minh Hoang (production), Nguyen Xuan Luc (business - startup), and shooter Pham Quang Huy (sports).
The young faces were chosen from 171 nominees through secret votes.
