Particularly in Hải Lăng district, where rainfall reaches around 400mm per day, the water levels in streams have risen to alert level 3, resulting in flooding in many areas.

Local authorities have mobilized forces to assist in evacuating residents from low-lying areas to safer locations. So far, they have successfully relocated 1,000 households.

Currently, there are still 6,000 houses affected by floods and experiencing traffic congestion. Quang Tri province has also instructed localities to develop plans to ensure the provision of nutrition for people during their relocation period.
