Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Ky emphasised that Quang Ninh province has actively taken steps towards the prevention and control of the disease, but the evolution of the disease caused by the nCoV is extremely complex and is at risk of being rapidly spread.
Quang Ninh has many border gates, airports, seaports, trails. A lot of goods are transported through the province and many people come and go through. The prevention and control of the disease must be prioritized, especially in the border areas.

Up to now, the entry and exit activities at Mong Cai international border gate have been maintained stably; passengers have complied well with the inspection and supervision process of medical quarantine process. So far, no suspected cases of nCoV have been detected.
According to Secretary of the Mong Cai City Party Committee Le Van Anh, the city requested the forces at the border gate to closely coordinate with the medical quarantine forces to strictly follow the specialized epidemic prevention plan and process.
