This is part of the effort between the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to enhance universal cooperation on health security.
The office has the main task of collecting, monitoring, and analyzing data, conducting disease investigations, and helping detect threats to public health. The center works with the re-emergence of dangerous diseases affecting social security and public health in the Central Region.
It is responsible for developing measures to minimize risks and prevent the spread of diseases.
