Public and private sectors cooperate for responsible aquaculture

VTV.vn - Vietnam has exported aquaculture products to 160 countries, proving its competitiveness in the world market. However, shortfalls in capital for infrastructure construction and sustainable development still remain a concern for the sector.

According to a master plan approved the prime minister, some 105 million USD is required for aquaculture infrastructure development. However, the government could only provide a paltry 7 million USD for this key export sector, so the private sector could be an ideal source of capital.
