Provincial competitiveness index 2017 announced

The top provinces of 2016 managed to maintain their high rankings this year. However, for the first time, this year Quảng Ninh Province has surpassed Đà Nẵng, which was leading for four consecutive years.

Quảng Ninh has reached the first position with the score of 70.7, followed by Đà Nẵng, Đồng Tháp, and Long An. These are localities with strong reform and effective means of support for enterprises.

Provinces with the lowest index were Daknong, Bình Phước and Kon Tum. Notably, the average scores in the rankings have been raised, indicating that localities have improved over the years.
