Provinces, cities welcome great number of visitors during holiday

Tourist attractions across the country welcomed more than 7 million visitors, an increase of about 40% compared to the same period last year. Total revenue from tourism on this occasion is estimated at a billion USD.

The Quang Ninh Provincial Tourism Department reported that the locality served more than 624,000 holidaymakers during the holiday.

Meanwhile, the number of visitors to the imperial city of Hue in Thua Thien Hue Province during the five-day holiday was at 95,000, a year-on-year increase of 50%. In the northern mountainous region, Lao Cai province welcomed over 227000 tourist arrivals.
