Attending and directing the session, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan suggested the city improve efficiency when using public investment capital to solve problems in administrative procedures and accelerate the progress of key projects.
The city also needs to implement policies to help people, businesses and workers overcome the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also vital to effectively promote specific mechanisms in the National Assembly's Resolution on piloting a number of specific financial and budgetary policies for Hanoi, for faster and more sustainable development.
The National Assembly Chairwoman also noted that the People's Council of Hanoi should enhance its role and responsibily when making decisions on important issues and strengthen supervisions on law compliance.
