Promising new waste treatment technology

With a population of more than 10 million people, the city produces 1500 tons of industrial waste and 8300 tons of domestic waste daily. 80% of that is buried. Therefore, experts have stressed the needs for waste treatment alternatives. Without this being addressed waste will soon become a problem for the local environment.

Another advantage of using plasma technology is its small size, which only takes up an area equal to one tenth of that of other methods. Currently, a waste treatment plant using bio-plasma technology is operating in Đông Anh District, Hanoi.
