He was joined by Minister of Defence Phan Van Giang as well as leaders of Can Tho City and the 9th Military Region.
The head of government and the delegation visited veterans Nguyen Van Khoi, Huynh Thi Kien and heroic mothers Phan Thi Mai, and Le Thi Binh.
During the visit, PM Chinh inquired about their health and extended his best wishes to them and their families.
He also encouraged their children and grandchildren to uphold their family traditions to make further contributions to their hometown and the country.
