During the meeting, he asked the group and the telecommunications sector to redouble efforts to become a spearhead economic sector and contribute more to national development.
The leader hailed the group’s success, saying that it’s of great importance to Vietnam’s integration process. He urged the group to focus on high-tech industrial production, limit imports, and promote unity and party building. VNPT should take the lead in the Vietnamese telecommunications market and improve its infrastructure by focusing on developing mobile telecommunications and promote the trade mark of Vinaphone regionally and globally.
Prime Minister Phuc requested that VNPT improve the quality of broadband internet services for the Communist Party of Vietnam and state bodies, and ensure cyber security. The PM also attended the inauguration of the Vinaphone-S service.
