Prime Minister presents Tet gifts to needy people in Quang Nam

Giving Tet gifts to elderly, people with disabilities and orphans as well as officials and employees of the centre, PM Phuc affirmed that the Party and State have always paid great attention to vulnerable people.

He also asked the ministries, agencies and localities to continue to effectively implement the policies related to needy people.

The Deputy PM highly appreciated Quang Nam’s efforts to build the social support centre, which is capable of caring for 150-160 people.

He asked the centre to create favourable conditions and provide essential support for people who are fit to return home for family reunions during Tet holiday.

The Government leader also requested the centre’s staff to continuously improve their skills, qualifications and responsibility in caring for needy people while asking members of the centre to strictly comply with COVID-19 prevention and control measures.
