At the meeting, the Vietnamese Prime Minister affirmed that the two governments would make an effort to connect their economies and strive to reach 5 billion USD in bilateral trade by 2020.
He also said that they would make their shared border areas more peaceful, friendly, and modern.
Regarding the resettlement of Vietnamese people in Tonle Sap Lake, PM Phúc thanked the Cambodian side for improving their lives, interests, and assets NA President Heng Samrin confirmed that Cambodia will be working with Vietnam closely to organize the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit which will be held next year in Cambodia.
