The PM noted that the 2019 Japan Cherry Blossom Festival hosted in Vietnam is a big cultural event for both nations, with contributions to the cultural exchanges of the two countries. On his part, the Special Advisor said that it is the sixth annual edition of the festival in Vietnam and that Japan appreciates Vietnam's close coordination for the event. He also said that under the direction of the Prime Ministers of the two countries, the two sides are actively researching the smart city development project.
