The PM spoke highly of collaboration between the aircraft manufacturer and Vietnam in recent years and enthusiastically welcomed the scheduled arrival of 10 A350-900 XWB wide-body planes, as part of Vietnam Airlines’ development plans.
The Airbus Group CEO said his company was keen to help local airlines in modernising their fleets along with offering technical and personnel assistance to help them successfully operate Airbus planes.
An A350-900 XWB was handed over to Vietnam Airlines on Tuesday in France. With a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner due to be handed over this July, Vietnam Airlines has become the second airline in the world to operate the brand new Airbus A350-900.
