Material tra fish is currently sold at 1.1 to 1.19 US dollars per kilogram, which is about 10 US cents higher compared to last month. The prices of black tiger shrimp and tra fish rose as enterprises are using them for processing and exports while supply is limited. As festivals and the new year holidays are not far away, the demand is high. According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the price of tra fish exported to the US market may even exceed 2 US dollars per pound in the coming months.
