Press Awards for Cause of Great National Unity launched

VTV.vn - The 16th Press Awards for the Cause of Great National Unity, 2023-2024, has been launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee and Vietnam Journalists’ Association.

The award ceremony is expected to take place on November 18, the 94th founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front – the VFF’s predecessor.

The 16th Press Awards for the Cause of Great National Unity is open for all professional and non-professional journalists, collaborators, and informants of domestic press agencies and our compatriots abroad until July 31, 2024.

Entries should popularise the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, and the action programme of the VFF on building and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.

The award includes five categories of printed and online newspaper, radio, television, and press photos.

Works submitted for the award must be published by domestic news agencies and newspapers from September 21, 2022, to July 31, 2024. Each author can submit a maximum of five works. The number of members of a group of authors must not exceed seven people. In particular, works awarded prizes in local, sectoral or interdisciplinary competitions at the central level are still eligible to participate.

The best works will be considered and voted on to be awarded many prizes such as a special prize worth 30 million VND, prize A - 15 million VND, prize B - 10 million VND, prize C - of 5 million VND and a consolation prize - 3 million VND.
