Delegates observed one minute of silence and offered incense and flowers to express gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh.
Throughout his life, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attachment to Nghe An Province. On July 21, 1969, he sent a letter to the Provincial Party Committee, calling local people to make greater efforts to develop Nghe An into one of most prosperous localities in the central region.
Following President Ho’s teachings, over the past 53 years, the Party Committee, authorities and people of Nghe An have promoted solidarity to rise above difficulties and make enthusiastic contributions to the national resistance war against foreign invaders as well as to national construction and defence, and especially to the development of the province.
