The senior Party leaders visited and examined communication and lighting works at several main streets and locations in centre of Hanoi, the National Convention Centre and Ba Dinh district.
They also worked with relevant agencies on a number of prioritised tasks in preparation for the Congress.
Politburo member Vuong Dinh Hue acknowledged the efforts of the relevant agencies in making preparations for the Congress, noting that the results were not really all that impressive.
He asked for the replacement of old propaganda materials to ensure that the new are bright and fresh, promoting the efficiency of propaganda during the day and at night.
The Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee also requested the relevant units create propaganda highlights at the entrance gates to the city, eight overpasses across Hanoi, the National Convention Centre, major intersections, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ba Dinh Square.
Politburo member Vo Van Thuong also said that the propaganda and visual communication for the Congress have yet to meet the requirements, asking for more highlights to create a brilliant look and an exciting atmosphere to welcome the Congress.
