Preliminary Thai eletion results announced
VTV.vn - Palang Pracharat party said on Thursday they were confident of getting enough seats to form the government, after the Election Commission announced that the party has won the popular vote.
Palang Pracharat won the popular vote with 8.4 million ballots, the Election Commission. But, it has not announced the full number of seats for each party in the 500-seat House of Representatives. The results represented 100 percent of the ballots counted but would remain unofficial until final results are announced on May 9.
