An art programme was held in the central city of Da Nang, featuring songs and dances performed by children in the locality.
At the event, the organising board presented 30 gifts, worth VND25 million in total, to outstanding students who are living in difficult circumstances in the City.
In addition, the Da Nang Municipal Youth Union and Labour Federation gave 300 bus tickets to poor youths and workers to come back to their hometowns on the occasion of Tet.
* On January 27, Dak Lak Provincial Labour Federation, in collaboration with Krong Pak District Party Committee presented 230 gifts, worth VND700,000 each, to trade union members and workers who are living in difficult circumstances.
Three social houses were also handed over to three households of poor employees in Krong Pak District.
* A delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, led by Vice President Phung Khanh Tai, visited and presented gifts to 100 poor people and policy beneficiaries in the districts of Tuy Phuoc and Phu My, Binh Dinh Province.
