The competition will accept entrants from Vietnamese citizens and overseas Vietnamese, whilst both professional and amateur painters are welcome to submit posters.
Each of the entries should be new artworks that have never previously been submitted into prior competitions or been published in any form.
Those who submit posters have been requested to highlight an image of a peaceful, stable, safe, and friendly Vietnam, whilst drawing attention specifically to the country’s socio-economic achievements in the implementation of foreign policies and comprehensive international integration.
All works should meet the dimensions of 54cm x 79cm and use the symbolic logo of ASEAN 2020 with letters featured in both Vietnamese and English.
The total cash prize for the competition stands at VND74 million, including one first-place prize, two second-place prizes, three third-place prizes, and ten consolation prizes.
The deadline for submissions is February 28 with the results of the competition to be announced by the municipal and provincial Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the mass media.
