The patient is a worker from POYUN Company, Chí Linh City, and is the F1 contact of another case. From January 29 to March 12, the patients were quarantined at the facility of Regiment 125. Samples were taken 8 times and all tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. During this time, some of the patient's roommates tested positive so the quarantine period was prolonged.
On March 7, the patient displayed symptoms of fever, cough, chest tightness, muscle ache, and diarrhea. On March 10, the patient was sampled by Hải Dương's Center for Disease Control for the 9th time and tested positive for the virus.
