Politburo member Nguyen Van Nen attends Great Unity Festival in Binh Chanh District

Speaking at the festival, Politburo member Nen asked local authorities to continue to strengthen and consolidate the great unity, with a focus on caring for people’s material and spiritual lives and implementing treatment regimens for policy beneficiaries and people who are living in difficult circumstances.

Politburo member Nen suggested continuing to uphold the core role of the VFF and mass organisations in building the great national unity bloc, encouraging citizens to join in patriotic emulation and new rural development movements as well as in protecting security and order and national borders.

He also expressed his hope that the locals will join hands with the local Party Committee and authorities to help the country become more beautiful and civilised.

On the occasion, Secretary Nen presented gifts to outstanding households of Binh Chanh District.
