Pokémon GO negatives in Vietnam
VTV.vn - Pokemon Go has been launched in Vietnam for 10 days. While trainers are enjoying themselves searching for Pokemons, other people have voiced concerns about the supposed dangers ‘trainers’ may face when playing the game.

Doctors have also expressed doubts about supposed Pokémon GO addiction that could lead to hallucinations and affect the health of those that spend too much time on the game.

"Parents think their children are depressed. Actually, they become too dependent on the virtual world", Nguyen Thu Ha - National Institute of Mental Health, Bach Mai hospital - said.

To prevent possible harm from the game, the Ministry of Information and Communications is going to collaborate with game developers to come up with specific measures.

"We’ll propose working with game developer to prevent possible harm to national security, Vietnamese law violation or personal information leaks. We’ll also ask them not to put sensitive and dangerous areas in the Pokémon GO map", Le Quang Tu Do - Deputy Head of Department of Broadcasting and Electronic Information, Ministry of Information and Communications - spoke.

"We’ll warn players that the game might affect their health. They should not play more than 3 hours a day. Players should also be careful with malware that hackers take advantage of the game’s popularity", Mr. Le Quang Tu Do added.

Traffic Police Department has already warned players not to play the game while driving. Pokémon GO has been banned in Iran. Israel and Indonesia’s military and police has forbidden their members playing the game at work as well as in areas related to military and national security.
