VTV.vn - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse arrived in Auckland city on March 12th to begin an official visit to New Zealand at the invitation of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Andern.

This is the first visit to New Zealand by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc following the visit of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern back in November to attend the APEC Summit in Vietnam.

Following his arrival in New Zealand, Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc had a meeting with Mayor of Auckland Phil Goff, where the Vietnamese leader suggested that Auckland, as New Zealand's economic hub, deepen co-operation with Vietnam's localities to contribute to the bilateral comprehensive partnership, especially in business and trade to double two-way trade.
