PM receives WEF president

At the reception of World Economic Forum (WEF) President Borge Brende, Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc stated that Vietnam highly values its relationship with the WEF and will work closely with them to successfully organize the World Economic Forum on ASEAN in September in Vietnam.

He suggested that the agenda of the forum should be in line with the theme of ASEAN in 2018, which is self-reliance and creativity.

Along with the forum will be a series of networking activities between Vietnamese companies and leading corporations to exchange new ideas, trends, and business models. WEF President BorgeBrende asserted that the leaders of many countries have already accepted their invitations to the forum. He also expects that this event will provide opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to participate in major projects around the world.
