The PM totally agreed with naming the Fulbright School of Management and Public Policy Võ Văn Kiệt after the late Prime Minister who is well-known for the Doi Moi (Renovation).
He also gave his unanimous support for naming the biggest lecture hall of the school after former United States Senator John McCain, who had been contributing to the diplomatic normalization of ties with Vietnam.
Thomas Vallely thanked the Vietnamese government for supporting the Fullbright School establishment and affirmed that the school will be one of the best training facilities for public policy in the region.
