In the event, he emphasized the strong development of the Vietnam's press in various fields during the years. He said that press has become a link to provide citizens with the social-economic issues and Governmental policies and reflect the real life.
Acknowledging the difficulties that journalists are facing, the Prime Minister hoped that the press would continue to strengthen the provision of accurate, objective, honest, and timely information on the guidelines and policies of the Party and State.
He hopes they will continue to serve as a forum to express thoughts and aspirations. In particular, the press must be a tool in the fight against corruption, negativity and waste, which is being deployed drastically, synchronously and effectively by our Party under the leadership and direction of the General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
The Prime Minister believes that with a good historical tradition, bravery and wisdom, the national press will join the Party, State and people to overcome difficulties and challenges, maximize achievements, and contribute more for the Party's revolutionary cause, for the people's happiness and well-being.
