At the meeting, PM Phuc spoke highly of the Indian diplomat's contributions to connecting and boosting bilateral cooperative ties with regards to economy and culture by working with 26 Vietnamese provinces and cities.
Two-way trade volume has doubled since 2016 and even reached over $10 billion last year.
In order to further increase bilateral trade turnover, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc proposed that India create more favorable conditions for Vietnamese fruits to be exported to the Indian market and continue to further strengthen cooperation in the field of defense.
