Vietnam calls on governments and their people to stand united in the fight against terrorism in an uncompromising way in order to build a peaceful life and to ensure safe travel for people around the world.
Earlier, following the direction of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt actively conducted citizen protection activities, including visiting the victims, working with the local authorities and the Embassy of Egypt in Vietnam to quickly grant emergency visas to the relatives of the injured tourists to go to Egypt.
Vietnam appreciates the efforts and co-operation made by the Government and the people of Egypt in supporting the treatment and protection of Vietnamese citizens attacked in the incident.

Tour operators should keep updated on warnings from the local functional agencies to take security measures for their tourists.
For those who are operating tours to Egypt, consideration should be taken in organising tours to the country during this time and update information for those who plan to visit Egypt in the near future.
