PM chairs online conference on food safety

The conference aimed to define tasks and solutions for food safety management. PM Nguyễn Xuân Phúc also called for leaders at the local level to make recommendations for the draft of the Prime Minister’s instructions on food safety. Each department will be assigned to manage certain product groups, with an adequate budget given to handle issues in each group. Police staff and inspectors are particularly urged to apply stricter punishments for acts that violate food safety regulations.
