The Vietnamese leader was greeted at the airport by Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Kiyoto Tsuji and officials of Osaka prefecture. The 14th G20 Summit takes place today and tomorrow in Osaka, with Vietnam being one of 8 special guests at this year’s G20 Summit.
The summit is expected to deal with a range of global issues concerning trade, investment, innovation, and the digital economy.
In addition to discussions, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of a number of countries, as well as with businesses and friendship organizations in the Kansai region.
