Phu Yen implements solutions to illegal fishing

To join the country's efforts to call for the removal of the EU's yellow card warning about illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, the province has been taking drastic measures to make fishermen more aware.

Phu Yen currently has 1100 offshore fishing vessels. In addition to using the satellite-integrated communication system, Phu Yen will also order the insurance and banking sector to stop supporting fishermen who violate regulations.
