At the ceremony, the People’s Public Security Guard force was awarded the Hero of People’s Armed Forces title.
On this occasion, Party General Secretary Nguyen PhuTrong sent a congratulatory message to the force.
In his message, the Party chief expressed his belief, that with the proud tradition of 70 years of heroism, the People’s Public Security Guard force will continue to strive to build a clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern force, that is loyal to the Party, Fatherland and people.
The force will also make worthy contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, contributing to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for development.
The People’s Public Security Guard force is a special armed force, having the function of advising the Party Committee of Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security, and directly organising the implementation of the task of ensuring absolute security, for all activities of the Party and State leaders, including international delegations and especially important events organised by the Party and State.
