A state funeral was held at 7:00 am today, May 3rd, for former State President Le Duc Anh at Number 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi. Delegates from the Party, State, National Assembly, Government, and Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) along with officers and soldiers of the armed forces, Party members, and people from localities nationwide attended the funeral.
Throughout the course of his life devoted to the Revolution, State President Le Duc Anh proved to be a talented general and leader. But in daily life, he was simple, hospitable, and kind hearted.
