The meeting's target is to review the 10-year implementation of the resolution on Viet Nam's Maritime Strategy for 2020 and discuss draft regulations related to the responsibilities of Party members and officials.
During the five-day meeting session, the Politburo will also select candidates to be the new state president. The Central Committee will consider the list before presenting it to the legislative National Assembly.
