Party Central Committee closes third plenum

To reach set targets in the second half of this year and for the whole year, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong called for greater efforts to seek measures to deal with urgent problems, and focus resources for socio-economic development.

At the closing session, delegates commented on regulations on the implementation of the Party Statute as well as Party inspections, supervision, and discipline.  Members of the Party Central Committee approved a list of high-ranking personnel for state agencies for the 2016-2021 term, which will be submitted to the 1st session of the 14th National Assembly for election or approval.
