The Directorate for Roads of Vietnam will negotiate with investors to adjust fees for local residents as well as reduce overall charges for vehicles. Furthermore, the solution must be accepted by banks, as bank loans account for more than 90% of the total investment in these projects.
The negotiations and review are expected to be completed in October before being submitted to the Ministry of Transport. If approved, toll gates will reduce fees in November this year. Fees will be slashed by 25% on the Phap Van - Cau Gie Toll Station from October 15th.
