The event was attended by Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front (VFF) Do Van Chien along with members of the Party Central Committee: Pham Tat Thang, Standing Deputy Head of the PCC's Commission for Mass Mobilisation, and Nguyen Anh Tuan, First Secretary of the HCYU Central Committee.
The Ly Tu Trong Award aims to encourage and honour excellent leaders of Youth Union organisations across the country, contributing to the development of stronger Youth Union organisations and giving Youth Union officials motivation to enhance their knowledge and capabilities and further devote their talent and youth to the cause of national construction and defence.
At the ceremony, the delegates who won the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2022 exchanged and shared the process of striving and growing with dedication.
This year, from the 174 applications, 94 excellent individuals were selected to present with the Ly Tu Trong Award, including 47 excellent youth union officials in residential areas, 16 individuals from the school area, 4 individuals in the administrative-non-business area, 19 individuals from the armed forces area, and 8 individuals in the business sector.
Notably, of the 94 delegates, 11 individuals are from ethnic minorities such as Tay, Thai, Day, Muong, H'mong, Khmer, and Ma. The youngest is 24 years old.
