VTV.vn - According to the International Monetary Fund's 2018 Global Economic Outlook, the world economy is likely to maintain a growth rate of 3% in 2018 after its strong performance in 2017.

This is a good opportunity for Vietnam to increase its exports, especially of agricultural, forestry and fishery products. In the first month of 2018, exports of these products were worth over 3 billion US dollars. The target for the year is 40 billion US dollars.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has decided to put livestock in its export priority list this year. Other staples like seafood, processed vegetables, coffee, and cashew nuts are expected to witness strong export growth to the US, Japan, South Korea, and the EU.
