Accordingly, more than 5,000 gift vouchers worth 500,000 VND have been sent to mobile numbers of disadvantaged workers and those who lost their jobs or saw their income reduced throughout the city.
Funded by the city’s Labour Federation and Tiki Corporation, the vouchers allow recipients to shop online via https://tiki.vn/ and are valid until January 31, 2023.
The total value of the shopped items must be larger than 500,000 VND as gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash nor returned for a refund.
The event aims to ensure workers have a comfortable and cosy Tet Festival while facilitating the ‘Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods’ campaign and encouraging cashless payment among trade union members.
In addition to online trade fair, the city’s Labour Federation has also planned many activities to care for workers ahead of Tet, including gatherings, the presentation of train tickets, bus tickets and air tickets to workers, and various art and cultural events.
