The event will be held by the MoIT's Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency in coordination with Vietnamese Trade Offices in Australia, ASEAN, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China), the US, Japan, China and others.
The conference is expected to support enterprises in the supply and distribution of longan products while seeking business opportunities at home and abroad as Northern provinces are about to harvest their longan crops.
The event will be held on platforms including Zoom, Tencent and others with the participation of about 60-80 domestic and foreign enterprises which will promote longan products such as fresh longan, dried longan, longan pollen, longan flower honey, longan syrup, longan juice and others.
Enterprises are invited to register for the conference at http://event.vietrade.gov.vn/sukiennhanhungyen, as well as sending their information and product introductions to the organising board before 16:00 on July 7, 2021.
Hung Yen province, the largest longan hub in the North, is expected to harvest 50,000 - 55,000 tonnes of longan during this crop, up 15-20% compared to 2020. The province is going to organise a series of trade promotion events to boost the consumption of the fruit.
