The contest is open to three groups of readers, including primary and secondary school-children, high school and university students, and those aged 18 years and above.
The qualification round of the contest will take place from February 1 to July 31, and the organising board will sort outstanding entries into the voting round.
The voting round will be made public for voters from September 20 to October 10, on the ‘Sach Va Tri Tue Viet’ (Vietnamese Books and Intellectual) YouTube Channel.
The final results will be scored, based on the votes of the public, plus the jury’s evaluation.
An award ceremony honouring winning entries will be held in Hanoi, on November 11.
The contest was first launched in 2021, with an aim to create a venue for book lovers, to share their favourite books while promoting reading habits throughout society.
Last year’s event received great enthusiastic responses from the community, with more than 3,000 entries being sent to the organising board.
