The 300-pavilion event is organised to honour traditional craft villages, which make jewelry, ceramic, glass, and rattan products, among others.
A special area has been zoned for excellent artisans to show off their skills in making conical leaf hats and weaving. Joining the fair, about 200 businesses from Vietnam and abroad have a chance to introduce their staples. Vietnam is currently home to 5,407 operating craft villages, generating jobs for 10 million labourers. The fair will last until November 25th.
