On Feb 22, Vinafood 2 JSC and the Food Valley of China in Shandong signed a memorandum of understanding on exporting rice to China.
Accordingly, Vietnamese partners will be responsible for stable raw materials, contract production, and product traceability, in addition to e-commerce trading to reduce costs and expand markets. These are some of the efforts being undertaken by Vietnamese rice exporters in the past 2 months to meet the requirements of Chinese enterprises.
Currently, the Food Valley of China in Shandong has 3,000 businesses, making it likely for Vietnamese rice to penetrate this market through official exports.
